It has 4 stars outside of the door, however the service and facilities are at least two stars.
Hotel need renovation in everything, staff very rude and unhelpful.

Breakfast is large variety of food but lower quality and the service is slow……as slow as you may have to wait 20 minutes for a coffee.
Good location but this is not enough, also lots of nice hotels around at lower rate and better impression…..

The hotel we booked was out of electricity so we were transferred to the Plaza. As luck would have it, we were upgraded to a suite for our troubles! The hotel is old and the rooms need some TLC in places but in general the room was huge, comfortable, quiet and came with a stunning balcony & a bath big enough to bathe in. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly although I was surprised one evening to pay for hot water for my baby's bottle - only one evening in fairness. And, while the rooms have wired internet available, most of us now have WiFi devices and WiFi was only available in reception.

Finally we have the location and it couldn't be much better located to explore Nice on foot. Excellent

We reached hotel at 12.00 pm and our room was ready and we were upgraded to a sea view .
The room was clean and big .no free English channel on telly but who needs television when one is in Nice.
Breakfast was good and staff were excellent

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights - November 23-27th 2011. It is in a lovely position in Nice, looking out over the water (if you get a sea view) and the park. We had a room on the fifth floor, which had a terrace - great to watch the sun set in the evening - but had not been modernised - although some of them have. The hotel looked quite "tired" and the breakfasts were a little disappointing, but plenty of it. The staff were friendly and we were able to chose a different room to the one they had originally given us on the fourth floor (which was quite small) considering we had a superior room. Wifi is available but you have to bring your own laptop - you can pay for it in the lobby tho! Not really what you would expect from a 4 star! The tv channels were very disappointing - no football!! Only one english speaking channel (CNN).
