I'm a huge fan of farmer's markets here in San Francisco and so it sort of felt like home being at the Cours Saleya, only maybe a bit more hectic with the vendors calling out in French, which certainly snapped you to as to where you are. The fruit there was delicious and easy to snap up on your way to the beach or to Castel Hill for a picnic. It's a real scene and something to behold with its high energy all around and beautiful flowers to go with the good food.

Look at the stunning facades of the faded buildings, sip a coffee or munch on breakfast one of the many cafes or just stroll through the market.

This is the once place in Nice you really must spend time on any trip. A market by day with fruits, veg, meats, cheese and lots of other goodies every day but Monday when it transforms itself into a fun and magical antique market.

Have breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien (Daily Bread) a greta experience.

Very nice to see, a must if in Nice. Go in in the morning to get breakfast or buy stuff for a nice lunch. On Mondays is more like a flea market even though they call it an antique market.

This is one of the neatest markets I've been to in Europe after 15 trips! Located in atmospheric Old Nice, the market is full of amazing flowers, and a cornucopia of food products. Skip breakfast or lunch and wind your taste buds through this amazing market. It's so French, and so great!
