I stayed there 4 times, first time was just awful (and probably expectations were hight for French hotel industry), but now I could say it's very good value for money, for 50-60 eur you can get normal-sized room with double bed. I like the style of rooms, while public areas are very outdated and not in a good condition. Location is quite ok, very close to Nice-Ville, so easy to get to the airport and other stations on Cote d'Azure, 10 minutes by walls from Massena and 15 from Promenade.

Nice hotel in a good location, very clean and well furnished.
They served a very good buffet breakfast and really nice and helpful multilingual staff at the reception.
Try to book by the "Best Western" website to find "early booking"discounted prices and sign up for their card so you'll earn points booking with "BW".
Ask for an hight level room.

You will be out exploring Nice and the region anyways. If you stay in your room you will enjoy the flat screen TV and the Internet Access. Having fresh towels and sheets everyday is a plus. Definitely the best kept secret in Nice!

The room was a Single, which should have been plenty of room considering I just needed a place to overnight before moving to a vacation rental for the rest of my trip. The room was so small I could only open the suitcase if I put it on the bed. The bed almost completely filled the room; even the walking area was extremely limited. The shower was very small, and the door would not close properly, so water was everywhere! I knew there was a mold problem as soon as I entered the room, and learned quickly where the water problem was coming from. I didn't the area was that bad, despite what some other reviewers had said, but I learned from my landlord that it is a very bad area. Since I didn't go out that night, I didn't have anything to worry about. However, the hotel is situated near several outdoor restaurants, and it was very noisy until about 2:00 in the morning, making it very difficult to sleep... then the streetsweepers moved in! If you stay here, definitely get on the highest floor you can; maybe it will help the noise.
