Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights on our first visit to Nice. We found the room to be small but fine - it's not what I would call luxurious. I didnt mind the decor.
It was moderately clean and the bathroom was small (as expected in European hotels).
My main problem was that we didnt feel safe during our stay. There were a few dodgy streets and people surrounding the hotel.
The entrance to the hotel was wide open, no safe door or security.
The bathroom window when wide open (or balcony for that matter) was a view for all to see in - so often kept it closed.
The room door didn't seem to lock well and we actually had a maintenance person accidently come into our room! That was unacceptable.
The gentleman at the front desk was vague but gave us some good travel tips.
Overall, would prefer to stay elsewhere.

It is a small and simple hotel in a central location in Nice. The staff was very friendly and polite (they helped us arrange out sightseeing trips for Nice and Monaco! )
I would have rated the cleanliness 5, but a bathroom tile needed a renovation thats why i rated it with 4. It was clean although. The room was small, simple and clean.
THe neighbarhood was friendly and the hotel is central located (a few minutes walk to Promenade des Anglais etc).
In my opinion if u seek luxury and big comfortable rooms this is not the appropriate place for you. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in a simple safe and clean hotel, near sightseeing.

This is a great hotel if you're like us - just looking for a clean room with good beds that is just a place to sleep. We'd leave in the morning and return to go to dinner. Just wanted a safe, comfortable hotel. It was exactly what we wanted - extremely clean, 2 blocks from the train station, an easy 10 or 15 minute walk to the Old Town and restaurants and quiet. We had a room facing the street and even with the window open it was quiet. The room itself is large and well appointed - very modern looking leather headboard and chairs. No TV though but we had our books. We loved that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower and sink. The beds were very comfortable - what we got in a $300 hotel in Paris. Very clean - both the room and the bathroom. The ONLY negative I can say is that the shower is for a thin person - I'm thin and could barely turn around - forget about bending down to pick up the soap! We had to keep the door open to brush teeth etc. - it's really more like a closet than a room. The manager was extremely helpful, recommended fantastic restaurants and told us how to get to the bus station to get to Eze. The tram stops a block from the hotel but you don't need it since you can walk to the train station and the interesting parts of town. The area right by the train station is a little questionable but we were two women and never felt threatened or were harassed coming back from dinner off the main road. I'd say the neighborhood was just fine - we felt very good about our choice of hotels and would definitely stay there again.

The room was so small, that it was impossible to walk around the bed without walking sideways. The toilet room was so small, I couldn't sit on the loo with out spreading my legs and my knees against the wall. The bathroom floor was the size of a small shower tray. The fan cover fell from the extractor into the shower, exposing bare wires in the shower cubicle. The shower overflowed into the bedroom, damaging luggage and a phone.

The management initially blamed me for the shower overflowing and also, it was my fault that the luggage and phone got wet, because I shouldn't leave these things on the floor. When Best Western CS contacted the hotel, the management said there hadn't been any water on the floor, When I confronted the management again about their abject lies, they again said it was all my fault!

Add to this, a swarm of ants in the bathroom

A Nightmare and to be avoided like the plague!!!
