I just came back from a short stay in nice at Harvey hotel ( ave de suede The staff is very rude and unfriendly , the rooms and sanitary group are in very bad condition for a 3 stars hotel and lack of basic maintenance is everywhere.
Regarding breakfast - I strongly reccomend to take it in the sorroundings thre are plenty of pictoresque palces around.
Bottom line - staying there for a single day is a real loss of time and money
