We booked a night at Hotel Miron at an online booking service at the
early morning of the day of arrival. Later that day our train was delayed, and we called ahead to say we would have a late arrival. However, the receptionist we spoke to could not find our booking and only told us "sorry, sorry, not my problem" in his bad english. We asked a French girl to make another call for us to make sure we had not been mistaken; he still did not find our booking, and told her that was not his problem and that we probably would not find a new hotel when arriving in Nice at 1am. Our French friend was really quite shocked when he later declared that he "did not really care at all that they had overbooked us." According to him, it was our problem, not his. So really, we never stayed at the hotel, but we never had the chance to, we just want to warn everybody of the crappy service we encountered!
