The upside for us was location. We needed a place close to Nice Ville train station. It is about a 3 minute walk. Everything else was fine-nothing great, nothing too horrible. It's a bit of a walk down to the center of town and the beach, but a pleasant one. The setup of the rooms is nice, with the bathroom being apart from the bedroom. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, and it was nice to have a balcony. The major drawbacks are the beds. In the twin rooms, the beds are actually more narrow than a standard twin. I've never encountered such a thing before. I nearly fell out of bed several times in the night, and I'm a little person! Also, the mattress pads have rubber lining which is very uncomfortable for sleeping. There is no wifi, and while most hotels have either wifi or a computer you can use in the lobby for free, this one charges 9 euros an hour to use their lobby computer. I'd probably try a different hotel in Nice before staying here again. But as I said, it was fine.
