The hotel is situated in the end of main street of Nice, neighborhood there isnt very nice. Far from beaches but close to shopping area. Positive things about this hotel are closeness to railway station (right in front of the hotel) and free wifi.
There is no table in the room, only that one on which tv set stands. But furniture is new. No english channels. There is a slot under the door so you can hear noise from hallway. Audibility in the hotel is very good (its obvious what people do in other rooms: talk, flush the toilet, etc.). The street is noisy too (trams pass by every 5 min). Once after 10 pm hotel door was closed and there was nobody at reception. Although personnel in lobby was pretty friendly. There is luggage room that is not locked.
In general this hotel is suitable for overnight or budget stay (price was very attractive).

It was comfortable and the staff were friendly, but there was no safe and it's quite spartan. Don't bother eating breakfast here because it's 6 Euro for some cereal, a croissant and some bread with condiments. You can get the same at a nearby cafe for half the price. Seedy location but it is cheap.

This may not be a luxury hotel but neither was the price and we were realistic. Reception staff were great and didn't laugh at our slightly shaky French (which we didn't need as their English was superb). The room was big and had a balcony looking out over a 'normal' bit of Nice. Breakfast was good - and these staff also friendly. Good cheap restaurants round the corner. OK so the lift didn't work but the exercise did us good. If we were going back to Nice we would stay there again.
