I chose this hotel because my GF stayed here 10 years ago. It is a nice, clean hotel with a good price. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap hotel in Nice. The location is very nice; only a short walk to the old city and the fortress (for a nice view).

Go directly to the Louvre public parking if you have a car.

The staff and management are excellent at this hotel; they are friendly and extremely patient: they spend time answering questions about location and restaurants, and were always very prompt and friendly addressing small requests about the room (checking the heat, checking the drain, the internet). It was all done right away. Lobby is gorgeous with new refurbishment. Bathrooms seem all new. Yes, some of the rooms are extremely small, carpets could be refreshed again but rooms are clean and space is quite well organized (cupboards, outlets) given the date of the building. Internet worked great and very fast. Absolutely perfect location as well for shopping right beside the hotel and easy walk to old town. We've stayed here twice now and will definitely return.

My trip through the Cote D’Azur in France began from wonderful Nice! Staying at the BEST WESTERN Hotel Roosevelt was perfect. My room was tastefully appointed with TV (cable), TV, hair dryer. At the hotel I’ve found outdoor swimming-pool, so because of the warm weather I enjoyed my stay there. Good staff was very polite with me, I used free WiFi, besides my breakfast was so tasty, usually I’m very hungry in the morning :)

Have been to Nice a few times and really enjoy the destination. In the past we have stayed just outside of the main tourist area at the far end of the Promenade des Anglais. This time we wanted to be central to everything and decided to try the Best Western Hotel Roosevelt. We were not disappointed as this Hotel is within close proximity to shopping, restaurants, waterfront and other attractions. We truly love that you can park your car and leave it for the duration of your stay and trust your feet to do the rest. Hotel is modern, rooms very comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Computer station with complimentary internet access in the lobby for guests to use, which is always appreciated and offered by most Best Westerns in Europe. Did not experience any outside noise issues at all during our stay. Overall impression of this Hotel is that the Management and Staff are focused on the importance of the customer experience. Would not hesitate to stay her again and most probably will be doing so later this year.
