Location of the hotel is very good; close enough (walking distance) from the beach, pedestrian shopping street, train station (to go to Monaco for example) and even the old part of the city. Our room was pretty basic but sufficient. We have a side street room so there were no loud noices and had good night sleep. Breakfast was a bit too basic, selection was quite small. Staff was friendly but not overly helpful. Restaurant closest to the hotel is a Sicilian on (Villa Corleone) and we enjoyed their food and good service.

We stayed for a week at the end of August. The hotel is not a smart as in the pictures and the public areas are rather dark and worn. My sons had a triple suite which was just a double room with a put me up bed but about 50 euros more. It is in a relatively quiet location but a short walk from the seafront which was good. The Sicilian restaurant underneath the hotel is good. Staff were friendly and the bathrooms were nice and clean . Carpet wasn't vacuumed every day. On our last day we had checked out but they looked after our luggage until 6.00 pm as we had a late flight.

We found the hotel a good value. We arrived fairly late in the day, there was a problem where they did not quite have our reservation in the computer system (it was found in the paperwork but no room was allocated). While the staff treated this as a normal occurrence, the problem was quickly resolved, room assigned and we heard nothing of it for the remainder of the stay.

The room was large by French standards and so was the bathroom. The water pressure was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette very convenient as we kept some drinks in the fridge and it enabled us to have quick breakfasts in the room before heading out in the morning. Room was very clean and well lit. I don't think this is a very service oriented hotel, but given the combination of price (at least the one we paid), location (short walk to the Promenade des Anglais, not too bad for finding parking), size, cleanliness and amenities of the hotel, I would be happy to return.

The most disappointing thing was the cleaning of rooms. There were no vacuum cleaning of carpet cover during 4 nights, even the garbage from the room was not throwed sometimes. One day there were no cleaning of the room at all. So that was really very upleasant to stay at the hotel.
At the same time I'd say the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok for 3 stars, the quality of Wi-Fi was in the room was very good, and location of the hotel is also plus.
