i was very eager to see the french riviera and based on the reviews i gave it a try at this hotel since the one i wanted had no vacant rooms.all in all i liked it ,great breakfast,rooms quiet and clean but i couldn't say the same about the staff.very evasive,not very helpful..i don't know,maybe it's the french way :)))
the location is excellent,you have the train station 5 minutes away from the hotel(that is if you want to check out antibes,juan de pines,monte carlo,saint tropez).all of them are 10-15 min away and it's worth it !!)
went there for a week so you can do anything by yourself.all you need is there.

First time in Nice, and this hotel was worth the price. The quality of the staff and the rooms were beyond expectations. They were aware of when I was coming and were waiting for me. The service is really fast, and the room very clean.
Being downtown in nearby the famous place macea was a great plus. I really like the rustic side of the room even though I wish the room was a little bit bigger.
The bed was also very comfortable. I suggest this place if you want to try many restaurants around which are easy to access

This was my second trip to Nice. I chose the destination for multiple reasons: I was on mid-tour leave from Afghanistan; this was my brothers first visit to Europe; I was very satisfied with my last visit to Nice. This hotel was easy to get to by car, even having to drive through the city. Parking is next door and at a discount that is very inexpensive. The location of the hotel is perfect and is a short walk from everything you want to see in Nice. Finally, the hotel staff, particularly the front desk staff, were incredible. Not only were they helpful and polite, but they actually seemed excited to see us. Out of the three different hotels we stayed at in the previous three nights, this was the best one. I strongly recommend it to others.

This hotel is near the train station and within walking distance of the Macena Place.
There is a lot to see in Nice so it's easy to take the trams near to Etoile Nice.
There are some good restaurants within walking distance including
The ferniture of the rooms are old fashioned
My room was small but Clean
The staff were helpful
The wifi worked well.
The Bath Need renovation for sure
Hope with some renovation I would call this a 4 star hotel
