We spent our last 4 days of a 3 1/2 week vacation here. The place is beautiful and very conveniently located on the Promenade des Anlais! Close to fantastic french bakeries and sites. Our room was lovely and spacious with a nice restaurant where our first awesome french dinner.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and were happy with our choice of hotel. It is perfectly situated in Nice, opposite the picturesque beaches of the Cote D'Azur and in close proximity to many restaurants and shops.
Contrary to what has been stated by other guests, we found the rooms spacious, clean and reasonably priced. Our room didn't overlook the ocean, however the view from our room overlooking the gardens of the museum next door was beautiful.
The cleaners were friendly and welcoming. One lady, whom was working every day during our stay made the personal effort of knocking on our door every evening to ask if everything was okay in our room and asking if we needed anything extra before packing up her cleaning equipment. Although we did not need anything she was very lovely and we really appreciated it.
We ate at the restaurant 'La Siècle' multiple times during our stay and were extremely pleased with the service in addition to the presentation and taste of the beautiful food. We had the same waiter each time who was very nice, friendly and he even recommended things to see and do in Nice and this was greatly appreciated.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone seeking to stay in Nice.

Great position, easy walking to the old city, to the shops and surrounded by restaurants. Bus stop at front of the hotel EU4 from the airport. Buses also run both directions, you can go to Monte Carlo, Grasse for EU1!

Hotel comfortably old fashioned but staff offer excellent service. Great breakfast and the hotel Restaurant did not disappoint on Christmas Day.
Room small but sufficient spottless bedding and towels.

The day of booking has been blocked on the map value of overnights in a couple of weeks, the lock was removed. During check-in reception area blocked the cost of hotel anywhere else in the 50 euro deposit account ... Money deducted at departure, the deposit is returned.
As I have said that "visually" looks very presentable hotel: luxurious aristocratic style ... This style is supported and internal public interiors (lobby, hallways, stairs). Staff at reception are friendly.

You have already realized that I was ready for anything very humble, but do not expect that the SO! Worse numbers, to be honest, I have never seen before. Number contrasts sharply with the "general hotel interiors" and more like a room in a seedy 2-3 stars... area more than normal, a bathroom, by the way, the modern and not bad (except for pre-flood dryer), but the room itself - it's just awful - old furniture, some are worn, the design is awful, grim. And this is the hotel this year after an upgrade! It is terrible to imagine what it was then used with the numbers ... For the price range of this hotel, have the numbers just a shame.
Because at the site of the hotel, and booking, the photos are absolutely the other rooms!

Of course I understand that completely took the usual "classic" room, but for three hundred euros a day might look like ...? even though it is the easiest at the hotel.
