Lovely hotel that has been recently renovated by new owners. The rooms are clean with all new furniture and bathrooms, only the exterior is left to be renovated which the owners say has been delayed due to bad weather. I think the pool will be brought up to a good standard from its current poor state as well as they seems to be working on that but I didn't fancy a dip anyway as it was only 8 degrees.

The owners are so friendly and catered to our every need and spoke very good English for those who struggle with French as I do!

I spent 9 nights here and must say that I am definately looking forward to my next return. The dinners were great and the service was top notch. I left right before the renovations were going to take place, but I can't wait to go back after the place gets a facelift.

* Excellent customer service (and being French I can assure you this rarely happens unless you pay a lot more than in this hotel)
* The rooms are clean with a lovely little balcony. Lots of storage and nice and clean. The only problem is the rooms look at little bit stuck in the 1970s!! The whole hotel will be renovated this Winter (and closed for 3 months... or so I was told).
* Superb value for money knowing where the hotel is situated (Mougins is super posh... avoid the restaurant next door "La Menthe Douce" unless you are happy to pay 12 euros for an aperitif and 20-45 euros for a main course!!!
* Great swimming pool (see picture)
* Lovely atmosphere with receptionists REALLY making an effort to make your stay as relaxing and interesting as possible (they are patient and have lots of tips about what to see and do, they are great with children, truly enjoy having a chat with customers and speak many foreign languages).
I would definitely go back, do not listen to wingers!!

They use superior room pics to advertise inferior rooms so the standard of facilities doesnt match when you get there, the hotel photos online were taken about 20 to 30 years ago, and since then it hasnt been touched and hence the place is now a run down seventies dive! oh and a dive with stinky toilets at that! our room was run down hot as hell and stank. no aircon, crappy crumbly decor with crappy plastic chairs and beds, etc etc - and should you decide to complain about any of this, id advise you just save your breath and just book in at the ibis 5 mins down the road instead as you will still be charged by the charming staff regardless; apparently it is still acceptable to misrepresent and rip customers off in the hotel industry. just what every holiday needs - to remind you to be careful booking online! never rush to grab what looks like a great deal!!
