I am a frequent business traveller. I ended up in the hotel La lune de mougins by luck as I generally used chain hotels (full that week).
Right from the moment I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the dedication of the staff/owner. My flight had been delayed, I arrived by midnight and there was someone there to greet me with a smile.
The hotel has just been elegantly refurbished, the rooms feel homely and pristine, wide screen TV, balcony overlooking the pool, just great.
The breakfast was simply great, freshly baked croissants, home made bread, fresh coffee, I rarely have had such quality for a 12 Euros breakfast. Worth every cent.
The restaurant had a 25 Euros menu and once again I was pleasantly surprised, the food quality was great and made on the spot, all cooked to perfection.
All in all this trip has changed my mind about small hotels, after 15 years of travelling and staying at big chain hotels I now have a much more open view about the charms of family owned hotels with a real care for good old fashion customer care.
