My Boyfriend and I stayed at this Etap on 16/10/2011. We liked how you can check yourself in on the machine at the front of the hotel. Good parking right outside the hotel which was free, even though it was on the street.

Excellent or shall i say stunning view from our room on the 2nd floor with a balconey, we watched the sun go down in the evening and slept with the balconey door open as it was such glorious weather.

We had a lovely walk into the town along the harbour/seafront.

We didnt stay for breakfast as we needed to leave early to get on the road, for 50 Euros this is a real bargin, we would come here again and use Etap again.

Good location about a 10-15 minute walk from town. Nearest rail station is Menton Garavan, which is tucked away uphill behind the hotel, but only 5 minutes to walk.

The hotel was at about the level I expected of an Etap, which are one of Accor's budget chains. The room was clean enough, and the air conditioning was was very effective. The balcony was good for a view of the marina, opposite, and the busy main road - to the right is Menton, and the Italian border is about 500 metres to the left.

Breakfast was reasonable value at 4.90 euros, and was good for filling-up prior to a hard day's tourism. Don't expect great quality, though there were plenty of cereals, bread, cheese, yoghurt, and hot and cold drinks.

I know people have complained about parking facilities, so maybe you should consider using the excellent train service which runs along the Riviera more-or-less half-hourly in each direction. We managed to visit Cannes and Ventimiglia, and numerous places in-between. You can buy a rover ticket - Carte Isabelle - for only 12 euros, and this allows unlimited train journeys along the coast for a day.
