Nice hotel with very large modern, comfortable clean rooms. Very spacious balcony - even the rooms on the back side of the hotel have a great view of Cannes. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very large with a fantastic shower and a separate tub. Everyone I encountered at the front desk was helpful and friendly.

The only downside is the distance to Cannes as I was there for a conference. If you do need a taxi to Cannes, plan ahead because you have to have the hotel call one which will take about 10 minutes. It cost about 30 euros one way to Cannes and about 90-105 euro to the Nice airport.

This is a nice hotel - lovely location on the beach with spacious, modern rooms ans friendly. However, if you a business traveler attending a conference in Cannes, you would probably be better served staying closer to town, as it was challenging getting to the Palais each morning, as taxis take about 15 minutes to arrive from ordering and cost about 30 euros each way, which does add up over the course of 3-5 days. Also, the internet connection was a bit wanting if you needed to work (though this a problem generally with hotels in the area).

That said, it is a lovely location, and the balconies were very pleasant and there are some great bistros in Mandelieu.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, needing a relaxing sea atmosphere.

POSITIVES:

-The location is perfect, the view is beautiful.
-The room is clean and modern with a big bathroom and separate toilet.
-The pool staff was very friendly (Maxime) and polite.
-The valets and the reception staff are also very professional.



NEGATIVES

-The bar staff, well...absent and not motivated? I had to wait 20 minutes sitting on the terrace, for someone to come. I had the feeling I was disturbing by asking what was on the list as no drink list on the table.
-The swimming pool walls were a bit green, covered with algae (could be cleaned at least).
-The restaurant is a bit expensive for the quality served. I had lunch in a Michelin 2 Stars restaurant in Cannes for half of the price of this restaurant, with better food and better wines!
-The hotel was hosting a seminar...OK good for them but really disturbing. Selecting a sea view room, you are just over the restaurant terrace...noise until the middle of the night thanks to this seminar. They woke up early again, and at 7am...the whole hotel had to wake up as the seminar staff was preparing a stupid team building exercise outside...At 9am...the whole hotel was invaded. Not a single quiet spot anymore!!!

CONCLUSION:
Nice hotel, nice location, but noisy and restauration staff shall learn their job and learn to smile a bit!

The Pullman hotel is just great. I absolutely recommend this hotel to business man but also to leisure seekers. The service is excellent. Nice staff. The location, close to Cannes, beaches and other nice places. 2 Golf courses very close. But above all very spacious and beautiful rooms.
