Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The hotel is very charming and offers good value. Didier and Rachel were always very friendy and helpful and were more than happy to put up with our dreadful French!

Close to everything and run by wonderful people. An old home transformed into a hotel - air conditioning, comfortable rooms - simple, and near the sea - what else do you need...

We stayed for almost ten days and were incredibly impressed. The food was really outstanding (the moules frites were the best we've had), and Rachel - the owner and chef, and Didier at the front desk were always ready to do what we needed with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable.

We had a couple of big dinners with family - from 5 to 75 - and everyone was impressed and pleased. I happily recommend Hotel Alexandra to anyone heading to the riviera.

My fiance and I have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Hotel Alexandra.

The service was impeccable, especially from Didier, who was efficient and responded promptly to our queries before we arrived, and ensured that we had a taxi from Nice airport after we missed our original flight. The room was bright, spacious and comfortable, and I would highly recommend getting breakfast at the hotel as the food is great quality and the garden is a delight to eat in.

The hotel is well located for the Cannes festival - a short walk from the railway station (two stops to Cannes), or a 20 minute taxi ride to Cannes centre. The beach is also very close, and is much more relaxed than the beach at Cannes and much nicer than the beach at Nice.

We would definitely stay here again, as the hotel really is fantastic value for money - the accomodation is comfortable, the staff are very friendly and the location is a great base to explore the Riviera.
