We booked this hotel through Venere as a direct booking was not possible. Prices worked out the same, anyway, at around £76 a night including a very basic breakfast. The hotel would have been good value when the euro was weaker but now that seems a lot to pay for a smallish room with tiny shower room/toilet accessed by a rickety plastic folding door. At least the air con was included in this price; a must for when the nights are hot and if you want to muffle the sounds of the noisy street outside. It's not rowdy holidaymakers but street cleaners, binmen, builders and other passing tradesmen who all enjoy conducting loud conversations with the people on the fifth floor of the flats opposite. Juan Les Pins is an expensive resort so if you're on a budget, use the 200 bus to get here from Nice airport, and buy a carnet of tickets for the local buses where you can travel as often as you like within 3 hours for 1 euro. Do like the locals do and eat in the local Flunch next to the Carrefour hypermarket, and don't hanker after too many ice creams or coffees because they cost £3-£4 pounds each. Prices become more reasonable as you go inland, and we would recommend excursions to Biot (Village) and St. Paul de Vence.
