We have stayed at the Resideal twice. First in May 08 for 5 days, last minute which turned out to be the week of the Cannes film festival(how lucky was that!) & as a result booked again for a week in Sept, we would have liked longer but unfortunately it's restricted to Sat/Sat during peak seasons which runs to end of Sept. We stayed both times in an upper floor apartment(4 persons) with sea view, the first evening when I walked onto the balcony the view was breathtaking,-Harbour, Fort Carre & the old town- I was sold for then on. The views from the roof top terrace are even more spectacular there is no better way to start your day than having a swim in the roof top pool with the sun rising over bay of Antibes. Location is great only 5 minutes walk to the train station & the200 bus stop which runs right along the coast.. There is a great little shopping complex about 200mts from the apartments, across the road from the fire station, which has a small supermarket, bakery , chemist & cafes. The town is only about 20 mins walk. Antibes is beautiful, great choice of restaurants around the old town, markets 3-4 days a week you could spend your whole holiday just exploring the town but if you want to explore the region I would recommend public transport. You can buy "carte isabelle" 12 euro per day for unlimited train travel(some days its 1st class) for anywhere from Ventimille in Italy to St Raphael(including Grasse & Monaco) My only reservation about the apartments is that although they advertise an restaurant opening hours are 12-2& 7-9, with a very limited menu, It would have been nice to be able to relax around the complex and finish the night without being rushed out. But apart from that I can recommend the Resideal for great accommodation excellent location and a great base to explore this wonderful region.
