“Fantastic Value for Money, Highly Recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2010

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 days in July 2010 and we absolutely loved it. Staying here was like having your own apartment in Juan Le Pins. A lot of thought had gone into the rooms which were very clean and modern, excellent use of space and a lovely kitchenette, perfect for all the gorgeous food we bought at the supermarket. The hotel is in a great location only 5 mins walk from the beach, very quiet road so sleeping is a pleasure. My only recommendation to this hotel would be that they willingly serve coffee in the day - one of the girls at reception looked positively mortified when we asked for one and but grudgingly made it for us after a bit of flouncing. Apart from that, other staff were extremely helpful and polite, I would definitely return here!

“Really Enjoyed the Mandara Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2009

I was here on business but decided to also bring the family, due to the nice location. The hotel is brand new, since it has reopened less than a year ago, after a full and thorough renovation. Rooms are spacious and bright, with all the comforts (we had 3 lcd TV's in our suite, Siemens cordless telephone, parquet flooring throughout, a very modern and well equipped kitchen, free wifi etc). The reception ladies were very nice and helpful, always smiling, which is a great bonus these days. The beach and some great restaurants are only a 5 minutes walk away. Just do your homeworks when planning your route to the hotel, as it can be confusing. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a business stay, as well as a family holiday.

“Great vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2009

We just got back from a two week stay at Mandara Beach. We travelled with a 16 month old baby and it was perfect for us. Close to the beach in Juan-les-Pins, 5 min walk. The suites are beautiful and very clean and modern. The garden is very nice as well and we enjoyed very much the breakfast outside for an additional fee. The staff is great, they all do their best to make your vacation as perfect as possible. Mandara is great for families travelling with children as well as for a romantic getaway. If we could we would go back any time.

“Overprized appartements”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2009

In most cities you can fin a 5 star hotel for this price. When we arrived the appartement it was so so dirty. The housekeeper told us she forgot to wash it, but this hasn`t been washed properly for a long time. That was a terrible start.
The appartments are ok. New and the style is ok. With aircondition and 2 balconys. The tv only had french channels.... It said in internet that it was a full kitchen there, this was not correct. A micro is not a full kitchen.
The staff in Mandara is very nice. Friendly, smiling and helpfull at all times.
The appartements is not in the best area of the city. To far away from Antibes and the city centre of Juan-Les-Pins. But it was only 5 min from a nice public beach.
We had a poor start, but enjoyed our stay after all.
The prices are to high for the standard and the position of this place. We will find a better place closer to Antibes next summer.

“Great hotel, confusing address!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 June 2009

What a nightmare to find!! If only someone had just told us get on the 200 bus (right outside the airport Terminal 1) it drops you almost in front of hotel (get off at Pont du Lys - you see an Ajip petrol station, which is on Pierre Loti where hotel is). Don't go looking for Vieux Chemin de la Colle like we did - you'll end up in the middle of nowhere!!
Hotel is beautiful thankfully. Fairly quiet, modern with large open plan rooms, and also a terrace to sit out. Pleasant staff. Only a few mins walk from the beach, which is lined with lots of lovely restaurants. You can get to Antibes easily too from Pont du Lys (ligne 1) if u fancy a day trip - doesn't take long. Also can get the 200 back to Nice town, it goes along the Promenande des Anglais so stops almost in front of hotels there too.
