Booked one night in a twin room in this hotel through venere.com after having spoken to Madame on the phone to check she had indeed got a twin room available. On arrival however it turned out there was only a room with a double bed, as other guests had booked an extra night in the twin. We explained this was unacceptable, were offered complimentary breakfast if we took the room, and eventually Madame produced the key for another double room so we ended up having a double room each for the price of one! Good result, but could have done without the hassle. Lots of stairs with filthy well-worn carpet, the rooms and bathrooms are simple & clean, bed linen was crisp. Should have kept the windows closed as there was a lot of noise in the street below and then from other guests in the morning due to thin walls.

I stayed here for 3 nights and was really impressed at the friendliness of the couple who ran the place, access to free internet, the spacious rooms, the cleaning of the rooms daily and the proximity to the beach and all amenities. I was also able to leave my suitcase for safe-keeping on the day that I had to check out and this was looked after by the owners in their office. Friendly and would definitely stay here again (price very reasonable too).
