We stayed in a 2 bed apartment (4 adults and 2 teenagers) for the October half term. The actual setting of this apartment block is absolutely stunning. On one side you have the harbour (the side we faced) and on the other, you have the beach.
You can walk through the adjoining hotel outside pool (which you can also use) for direct access to the lovely sandy beach. There is also a bus stop here which runs regular buses into frejus and to the train station if you want to go further afield to Cannes/St Tropez etc.
The harbour is very pretty with a footbridge crossing it to lots of bars and restaurants on the opposite side to the apartments. Please note though that we were there the last week in October (very lucky with the weather, in the low 80's) but many of the bars and restaurants were shutting down for the end of season, though we still found plenty to choose from and if you walk a bit further on to the sea front of St Raphael, there are plenty more. St Raphael is a bit busier than Frejus and is within walking distance.
