We had a lovely few nights here. The staff were extremely helpful. For the area, we found it good value.
Nearby Eze village is pleasant, and a better alternative to staying in Nice, which is not far away at all anyay. Monaco also very near.

We stayed for 1 night in June - this hotel is very very tired and in need of a renovation. The furniture in our room was literally falling apart and while the view was fantastic we were disappointed to find out that it was too dangerous to walk to the village. We ended up spending an extra 30 euro to get taxis to the village and back for dinner - flat rate for all of 700m - in hindsight we would have stayed somewhere closer to the village.

I only stayed a week-end for business (I was attending a 2-days sympo in the hotel) - to be frank, because the previous reviews I read ranged from ugly dump to paradise-on-earth, I was wondering what this strange hotel was actually looking like. Pros: stunning view, young, friendly and helpful staff, nice pool, less than 20 min drive from Monaco, Nice, St Jean Cap Ferrat and other hot spots, great breakfast. Cons: the whole place would need indeed a serious redesign. Actually it's funny because the entire hotel seems to emerge from the 80's, and after a while you just expect meeting Boy George or Duran Duran having a drink in the lobby. B&O TV sets apparently bought in the late eighties, tired lifts, clean but somewhat out-dated rooms and bathrooms.... I have read that some reviewers complaining this was not a 4 *-class hotel. I would not be that severe because I really enjoyed my stay there and that the staff was great- furthermore, I am pretty sure that with a minimum of effort (e.g., making the guests sunbathing on trendy deck-chairs, and on not cheap, plastic ones, or removing the roughcast from the walls and ceilings of the rooms), Les Terrasses d'Eze could become a unique place to stay on the Riviera.

We recently spent 2 nights in this hotel. On seeing our room we were very disappointed as it looked much better on the website. Its not a 4 star hotel, maybe 10 years ago! It is badly in need of refurbishment, the bathroom is grotty and the terraces should be blocked off for each room. It has great potential. Its views are amazing and it is in a great location. We had breakfast and room service(burger and chips), both were lovely.
