Although I would say this hotel is more 3 – 3.5 stars, as opposed to 4, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to my friends or relatives. The location is good, about 8-10 min walk to the main shopping area of Cannes and 12 – 13 mins to the beachfront. There is also a small convenience shop a minute away. The staff were polite and friendly and all spoke English. Check in was quick and efficient. Although our Expedia confirmation said that breakfast wasn’t included, the hotel said it was. Breakfast was basic, bread, croissants, cereal, coffee and some eggs you had to boil yourself but it was a nice added extra. There is free wifi in the room. And the best bonus of all was the free movie channel with many of the latest releases. The room was clean, although a little dusty in some places. Everything seemed relatively new, though basic. Bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub. There was also a lovely exfoliating gel scrub provided. Each day the cleaners left us a small bottle of Evian water, a tiny cake and 2 tasty biscuits, in addition to the tea and coffee.
There is a car park, a bit windy so proved a bit difficult as we had a large hire car. It’s also quite dark and you can hear scary noises, which I assumed was from the a/c. The rate is 8 euro a day. The view from our room was horrible, but hey, we didn’t spend anytime looking through the window so that was fine. The other annoying thing is that there is only one lift which got very busy so on occasion there was a bit of a wait.

Well located hotel with big rooms. Seperate bath and shower. Helpful staff who fixed a broken light immediately. Free movies in English was a nice bonus. Quadruple glazing made the room really quiet.
Car park a little tight but we mangaged OK with a Mondeo Estate.
Short walk to station and town centre made for a very pleasant stay.
