Entrance and reception are far from spectacular, basically nothing more than a corridor.

We stayed in the more basic room category, which was small but new, clean and very nice. The same can be said about the bathroom.

Hotel location is ideal, close both to station, city centre and beach. A good choice and not too expensive.

We stayed at La Villa Tosca for two nights. The rooms look pretty nice but don't look in detail! The bed sheets contained spots of blood, corners contain dust, dirty walls.

The first room was very big and looked OK. Apart from a big crack in the ceiling. Next morning we were woken up by water dripping trough the ceiling, at great speed (people in the room above us took a shower)
I informed the hotel staff about this problem, they promised to have a solution as soon as we would came back later that day. When we returned the gave us a room which was much smaller than the first. (the French way to thank for informing about a serious matter)
Furthermore they had moved our luggage themselves, without our permission.

Next morning we were woken up by the sound of a drilling machine, as renovation of the ceiling had started.

We had to pay full price, they said no sorry and they don't inform their customers about relevant matters. The hotel is dirty. My advise is to STAY AWAY.

We stayed at the Villa Tosca last week and had a very good experience. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful with a smile (which is rare in France!). The rooms are not big, but clean and of good standard for a 3* hotel. Aircondition, minibar and safe were a positive suprise. The living room with comfortable sofas and a large dining table for a family style breakfast was very cozy. Perfect location just behind Galleries Lafayette and the shopping street. The room rates were very reasonable. What else can you ask for? If you are in Cannes, don´t miss eating at MANTEL in the old town. This restaurant came highly recommended by the friendly receptionist at Villa Tosca!Excellent french cuisine!

Hotel La Villa Tosca was a pleasant surprise. We showed up in the early evening after a long trip by plane and car and we felt warmly welcomed. The staff are soft spoken but their smiles and welcomes were always appreciated.

We found the hotel to be charming itself with a many added little touches.

It is close to restaurants, monoprix, Gallerie Lafayette, Rue D Antibes and the sea front. There are many private lovely beaches that are a short distance away.

As it was very hot outside we wished that we could have turned the air conditioning on to stay a bit more powerful in our room.

I would recommend this hotel as a nice getaway to the sea.
