We just stayed there recently, and we liked it. We really were only there to sleep as we were out for the rest of the time! The staff were very pleasant and accommodating for any request we had. Yes, I agree with some other reviewers about the rooms, although I never thought about an iron .. didn't need one. But .. defnitely a mini bar or a fridge would be good. We brought some drinks from the (downstairs) bar on the first night, but they weren't removed from the room when it was cleaned the next day, which we thought was a bit odd! We were warned (from other reviews) not to have the breakfast, due to the price, and same thing with the internet ... which is a standard service, free of charge everywhere these days .. and if not in the room, then definitely in the lobby! I got a bit of a shock when I read a notice on the last day which said something about booking your sun lounger at the pool .... for a price !! I think it was something like 7Eu to have a sun lounger and a towel and a soft drink ... by the pool. I know you also have to pay to park - but we had somewhere else nearby to park.. for free so that was good, and the hotel staff let us park for a short while just at the front door of the hotel while we changed, or got things.
Apart from those observations ... it was clean, comfortable (albeit .. kinda small beds), pleasant and easy to get to Cannes via the lovely walk along the beach.
I would stay there again.
