This was supposed to be a very good hotel, but we were disappointed with the service. Only the cleaners were friendly. All the other concierge and reception staff were very offhand and did not make us feel welcome at all. They gave the impression they were doing us a favour by allowing us to stay, and we should be grateful for their condescension. Everywhere along the front gave this type of feeling, but luckily we found some back-street bars and cafes on our second day - where normal people hang out. I would not hurry back.
