I stayed at Majestic last December (WINTER!), and it was a big dissapointment. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are beautiful, but the bathroom was always wet and the service was not according to what you pay. My room was around USD 1000 a night!!!!!!!! and it did not include breakfast, nor internet... and not even a bottle of water in the turn down!!! I express this to the receptionist and she told me that it´s like in any other hotel in the world. Apparently this lady has not travel enough... I am a hotellier and I travel and stay in luxury hotels, but a USD 1000 room, at least has to include a welcome amenity.

I must say that I had given myself the best trip ever! I had never gone to Europe before and arranged to stay at the Majestic Barriere in Cannes. The gentleman at the concierge desk could not help me enough! Isabella at the front desk immediately offered me an upgrade as soon as I arrived and personally escorted me to the room. The hotel was immaculate!!!!! I was also brought a gift from the hotel which consisted of bottled sparkling water, chocolates, fruit and cookies (they were not even aware that it was my b-day).
Again, this hotel really is a 5 star hotel and cannot wait to visit again!

I really love this place, there is a very classic hotel i ever stay and the location is very stunning, very close to the beach and convenience for all shopper!!

I do not know what it is about hotels along the croisette and how travelers can accept and tolerate such low levels of service and hardware. Clearly ,pictures of Sean Connery and George Clooney are impressive but what about the chipped bathroom tiles,bare minimum amount of bathroom amenities, small rooms and general poor maintenance. The hotel s in a good location but hey Mr Owner,spend some money on this property to make t truly majestic.
Not at all an impressive hotel.
