Travelling with our 5 month old child it took us a day to find out the buggy friendly way from the carpark to the apartment - once we did so was a cinch. As with all P&V resorts the friendliness and courtesy of the staff is really good.

I mixed up 2 rooms with 2 bedrooms when booking and as a result things were a little cramped (even on P&V scale this was a very small apartment). For an extra €40 per week could have had a bigger apart which would ahve been worth it. The kitchenette is well fitted out to cook and stay in if you want.

The pool is wonderful but charges €4 per half day for seats around the pool - did not realise this on booking as the residence is promoted heavily on the view.

Room safe is extra. Parking is extra, Small amount of tax. All in all the extras add c15% to the overall bill and we ended up going to the beach every day due to what would ahve been a €16 charge per day at the pool. About a 20 min walk to the harbour at Cannes along the seafront.

I was put up here for free for a conference I was attending. The only thing this place has going for it is the infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean everything else is suspect.

My suite was okay but the bedroom was facing the walkway so it was ridiculously noisy at all hours. There is no wifi except at the lobby. The staff was terribly unfriendly and the restaurant was simply a joke (don't eat there). The location is not great so if you don't have a car the cost of taxis will get expensive (15-20 Euro to get to the town).

I don't even know what they charge per night for a room but I hazard a guess I would laugh when you told me. There is absolutely no reason to stay here and I wouldn't recommend it if there was.

I agree with Sheila,the last person who posted a review..I had a lovely room over the pool with
a view to the sea..Yes it's abit old,but I found it charming,beautiful grounds and helpful people
at the desk..It's abit out of the city center,in the hills,a walk into town but a shuttle is
available..I would definately
recommend it and go again myself.

We stayed for 4 weeks and loved it. True, the units were built several years ago and could stand to be updated but everything was clean and comfortable. We had a stunning view of the pool and Meditteranean from a huge balconey.

Staff were most accommodating. Whenever there was any problem it was handled professionally. Perhaps there is a misunderstaning as to what Pierre Vacanes is. It is not a hotel in the typical sense. The reception shuts down at 9pm. If you need the night watchman to speak English maybe you should stay in England.

My beef is that they wanted 20 euro a week for the safe in the room. I think that's outrageous. Otherwise I give it top marks. Sheila Pope, Uxbridge, Ontario Canada
