We found a good price for this hotel and decided to try it. The hotel looks very nice, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very nice. The pool is not a real swimming pool. It is a little bit bigger than a bath tub, but they have a very good deal to use the beach of a 5 star hotel. We liked the beach. The hotel is away from the sea, not in the center.

Located at an extremely busy road, for us it was perfectly well accessible by car to and from the highway. When you arrive, the first impression is not too bad: the reception area and hall seem ok and the staff is very polite and friendly. But once you enter the scruffy, little and dark room, you understand that 4 stars in France is a different category. All furniture were run down and you could hardly move inside the room. The carpet was so filthy that it disgusted me to walk barefoot. And the wardrobe was so tiny that we had to keep everything inside our luggage. But then: Where to store the two suitcases?? We were hopping around the open suitcases on the floor in order to get to the bathroom. And here, although all very clean and no mold, the tiny and tired looking bathroom was just the answer to the room.
The swimming pool (which we thought to use to relax in the morning before attending our meetings) turned out to be a water hole in the back yard, tucked in between several high apartment buildings overlooking the entire pool are. No place for leisure or anyone seeking for privacy. Don't believe the loveley pictures.
In a nutshell, I don't want to go back ever again, although the hotel was cleaner than many others I've seen in France. Yet,I expect something else of 4 stars than that.

8 of us stayed in the Amerante hotel in Cannes last weekend ,it was an exceedingly pleasant occasion.I felt it was like an oassis with the small nicely tended gardens and pool.Although a little way out of the main drag , the no 1 bus went every 10 minites or so , which cost a 1 euro into centre .Also about 15 minute walk to station .Staff were very good and bedrooms very clean , lots of very soft pillows on the bed and spotless towels in the bathroom !! Even a fresh rose near the wash basin. I thought it excellent value for money and would return

This hotel has everything you need for a more comfy stay on the riviera.
It's located on the edge of the city core, and it doesent take more than a 5 minutes walk to get to down town, the food is as good as it gets but a little bit expensive, i recomend that you eat at local restaurants to experience the regional food of the provance-cote d'azure.
The hotel offers great service and the staff is verry nice and helpfull in several languages, and the rooms are spacy, clean, comfortable and well equiped with bathrobes, bathtub etc.
I can recomend this hotel for everyone who would like to experience the riviera.
