This is a terrific spot - one of the best hotels we've found in our travels so far. In fact, it has inspired me to write my first ever review here.

We used the bastide as a 'home base' for our family of 5 (grandma, grampa, mom, dad, and a young child) to explore gordes, senanque, l'isle sur sorgue, and other (just as adorable and less visited) small towns in the region like bedoin.

The rooms are big, beautiful and super clean. Marc and Franca are wonderful hosts. And the garden is perfect with ample lounging space, pool, boules pitch, and tables for picnics outside.

If you want to be in the center of a village, this isnt your place. Otherwise, the location outside of carpentras makes this very convenient to drive to and from. We found it perfect!

We, family of four, stayed at the Cypres - the only apartment there. It was nice that we had our own drive in/ gate and car park and it was quite private and separate from the other rooms. Kitchen was well supplied with everything you need to make a quick meal for kids if needed. They even had a dishwasher which was nice. The kids room upstairs had two single beds and masterbedroom downstairs a double bed. Bathroom even had a washing machine which turned practical especially with kids. Only major problem I had with place was that the toilet stunk of urine - it was old and mouldy and it was most probably coming from the pipes. The bath could use a bit of renovations too. Couches were dusty and smelling a bit - I guess the place could have been aired a bit more. It's a shame cause reviews of normal hotel rooms appear to be good but we would not return to apartment in that state.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in a quiet section outisde of Carpentras. Proprietor's directions were "spot on". We just had to remember to turn at the house with the arch, especially at night. Grounds were expansive and beautiful with lots of different types of plants and trees. Had a swimming pool (no experience to review). Room was huge as was bathroom. Beds were great. We were too busy running around sightseeing to take advantage of the b&b fully but if we ever go back to Provence, this is definitely where we'll stay. Both husband and wife were charming. His English is a bit better but we had no problems communicating with her. Both aimed to please. Breakfast was so good - variety of yogurts, croissants, bread, cheese, meats, hand-squeezed juice, chocolat/cofee/tea, etc on different days. My spouse didn't want to leave! Great sounds from La Fountaine room of the fountain. Oh, and the weather was glorious.

We found this B&B with a last minute change of plans, and are glad we did! We would definitely go back.
This B&B was a great find in the heart of Provence!
Althougth the city of Carpentras is not a "destination" place, it is central to numerous other attractions in Provence, and we found the B&B to be a great base for a cycling and hiking vacation in the area.
The hosts are very friendly, helpful and considerate. We were even invited to play a game of Petanques with them one evening !
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are satisfactory (the usual bread and jam, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and coffe or tea),but the yard was what we enjoyed the most. It is a large garden oasis (complete with a pool),beckoning you to relax outside in the warm sun! On more than one occasion we dined "al-fresco" in the yard for supper, despite some great restaurants in the nearby towns.
