We found this B&B with a last minute change of plans, and are glad we did! We would definitely go back.
This B&B was a great find in the heart of Provence!
Althougth the city of Carpentras is not a "destination" place, it is central to numerous other attractions in Provence, and we found the B&B to be a great base for a cycling and hiking vacation in the area.
The hosts are very friendly, helpful and considerate. We were even invited to play a game of Petanques with them one evening !
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are satisfactory (the usual bread and jam, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and coffe or tea),but the yard was what we enjoyed the most. It is a large garden oasis (complete with a pool),beckoning you to relax outside in the warm sun! On more than one occasion we dined "al-fresco" in the yard for supper, despite some great restaurants in the nearby towns.

My friend and I stayed here during a bicycling trip to Mt Ventoux and the Col des Murs. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. Breakfast was basic, but delicious. The grounds are really beautiful and there is a nice pool and petanque court. Our room (piscine room) was basic but very clean. It's a peaceful and quiet place just outside of Carpentras. I highly recommend it here and will be back on my next biking trip.

We stayed the weekend at the Bastide and wished it had been longer. The grounds are very well kept and full of beautiful flowers and a lovely and refreshing pool. The pool was particularly great as it was a hot July weekend in the south of France. The rooms were well kept and spacious with a separate bathroom and each with their own unique touch. We rented two out of the five rooms available for myself and my spouse as well as one for my mother. The bathrooms are updated and clean and the beds are cozy and large. The breakfast was enjoyable, continental style, although I didn't really like the idea of sitting at a big table with other guests who you don't know. Made for awkward conversation. It might be better to allow the guests to sit at the various other tables in the gardens rather than everyone at one. This was just a minor detail. Everything else was spectacular. The hosts, a young couple, were gracious and accommodating yet very discreet. The outdoor kitchen was equipped with a mini fridge stocked with wine, beer, and sodas that you could purchase. They recommended a great restaurant in Carpentras that we tried out, la Petite Fontaine, and we got a free aperitif when we mentioned the recommendation. Overall, an excellent stay. I'd definitely go back..

A really lovely private residence about 2 miles from the bustling town of Carpentras. Within relatively easy striking distance of Marseilles. Surrounding area is lovely as well. Rooms are fitted out extremely well, even with bath robes for the guests. Lovely pool that is kept spotless by the owner Michel. Lovely landscaped garden.
Enjoyable plentiful breakfast. During breakfast we sat within one seat of some other guests we had befriended. Owner asked us to move to allow for 2 seats between us, so that other couples could fit in. Fair enough. Only thing was, there were no other guests. Also an element of fretting around the table. May just have been anxious to please. The list of do's and don'ts in the room takes some reading. Almost all of it is logical, just comes across a a tad officious.
We adored the place, but would not return for these very odd and some might say picky reasons. I was not alone in my views. Despite this it was one of the most beautiful places in our 14 destination vacation.
