We visited in the coldest February on record with the temperature minus 5 plus a windchill of another 10 degrees.
Reception is warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and cosy. The bathrooms are tiny but what do you expect from a conversion from an 18th century building. This is a one star property. Do not expect the Ritz or the facilities of the Ritz, but DO expect a warm provencal welcome. Do expect help and advice of what to see and where to go because you will receive all of this. In the tiny breakfast room do not expect a full cooked breakfast but do expect a typical family breakfast of juice, rolls and coffee. This is Avignon. What more do you expect? And the price is so reasonable. In the breakfast room you will find posters of the regions attractions (and they are wonderful) together with an indication of how long it takes to reach them by car. No car? Then do what we did and use the wonderful local transport. Everyone speaks English at the rail station and they will offer special prices for Senior Citizens. Just ask. All in all a wonderful experience. Just expect what you would normally get for this price and be surprised and grateful when you get more.
