I arrived at the hotel and was given a dark damp room with a window that faced a brick wall 2 feet away. I asked to be moved but was told they could not help me. I then told them I wanted to cancel due to the room not being the same as the one advertised on the website, I was told I could not cancel whether I left or not. I really have never stayed in such an appauling hotel in my life, it felt like I was in a hostel not a hotel. The only pluss point was the pool but that still has views or an industrial estate. I urge you to avoid at all costs.

“Modern & clean hotel, in an excellent location”
It's not the prettiest of hotels from the outside, and the front desk makes you doubt your choice, but the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and the location is excellent - right in the main square of Avignon. We parked illegally as we checked in and got directions to a parking garage not far away that has a special rate for hotel guests. We didn't try the breakfast but instead ate out every morning. The only thing that annoyed me a little is that the hotel 'froze' in my bank account the full amount for the bill, and then I had to pay the bill and wait for the original amount to unfreeze. I booked, as I usually do, through www.venere.com - an excellent web site.
