We were two couples, traveling in France and we enjoyed six nights at the CuisineProvencal in Arles, France. This charming B&B is actually a cooking school that has accommodations for students; when the school is not in session, other visitors to Arles are welcome to stay.Cuisine Provencal is located in the old Roman part of Arles. We entered through the large dining room and were shown our bedrooms, large rooms with private baths, antique linens, and tea service provided. Daily breakfasts were delicious with fresh baked goods brought in by our hosts, eggs prepared to order, orange juice freshly squeezed and a fruit bowl available for our use throughout the day.Madeliene and Erick Vedel live on site, their two young sons are often in evidence and delightful additions to our adventures. While the dining room is a good gathering spot, this establishment does not provide a sitting room with comfy chairs for reading or conversation. That is the only drawback I found. This situation is understandable because first and foremost, this is a cooking school with a very interesting kitchen classroom. The website can be accessed at cuisineprovencale.com.
