The proprietor of this hotel was one of the nicest people we've met on our travels. She gave us lots of good advice.

The room was simple but clean, and had a nice view of the pool.

We had a very pleasant stay here in July. The hotel is located in a pleasant residential district about 20 minutes walk to the town walls. However the walk is through pretty much dark and deserted streets with at least one railway underpass so is not for the fainthearted who may want o consider a taxi ride home.
The rooms are very light and airy and all overlook the garden/pool. The pool itself is clean and well maintained and during our stay we were never more than four people at the pool. There is also no pool curfew at 7 or 8 o'clock as there is at most hotels. as long as you don't disturb other guests they are quite happy to let you take a dip in the pool at 11 o clock on a hot summer night.
The breakfast as at most french hotels is just about worth the 10 euros. However this being a residential area there is a large supermarket out on the main road where you can stock up on beer wine and soft drinks.
Arles itself is a great little town with live events pretty much every evening in the olfd roman theatre. There are loads of bars and restaurants around the amphithetare..
The hotel has free parking.

Brightly colored paint with adequatel sized rooms felt like a Howard Johnsons. Staff was friendly enough and helpful but there were apparent family members skulking around the lobby all the time making us feel we were interrupting something. For the money, it was just adequate and breakfast was $13 extra and just OK. It was about a 10 minute drive to town.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Le Rodin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast can be served to your own patio. Small hotel, similar in some ways to a motel, but nice grounds and excellent pool (which we had mainly to ourselves). Air conditioning and in-room fridge most welcome in the blistering heat. Walk into town is somewhat more than 800 metres and not an overly pleasant stroll but town centre worth visit once you get there. Good access to main roads whilst enjoying quiet. Would stay here again.
