“A very good budget hotel in a convenient location, 5 minute walk from the train station, and the coliseum.”

An easy to find hotel, right inside the old city walls gate, a 5 minute walk from the train station and Roman coliseum. It's a good budget hotel with all you need for your stay, and comfortable beds. The front desk was very helpful, and even shipped back to the United States an item that my friend left in the hotel room.

“Great Hotel in Ideal Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2011

The Acacias is a clean, modern hotel very close to Place Voltaire and not from from the SNCF Station in Arles. The rooms are spotless, quiet and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent; one of the best breakfast values that I have discovered in France. Standard rooms are not large so, for a few Euros more, select a larger room. It is an excellent place in which to stay in Arles.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room in the rear or at the side by the city wall.

“Fair value - a good one night stopover.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 July 2011

We (2 couples) stayed here on our way to the coast. The location is good - very close to the historic old parts of town - just inside the wall. Also close to the river. The rooms were comfortable and reasonable value. We arrived and had trouble finding a room as Prince Albert was in town and many people from around the area were staying in town for the night. If we were spending time in Arles (which we will do next time) we would probably try somewhere else. No real complaints - just think there is better to be had elsewhere.

Room Tip: Inside room - looking at central carpark is quiet.

“great location, budget accomodation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2011

found on a last minute site, good value for money, small, clean, with friendly staff, very brightly coloured rooms a bit likes Arles itself, the location was a surprise to us as the hotel was situated in the old part of town which meant seeing the local sites and the Van Gogh trail was very easy, and very close to the train station, breakfast was a little dissapointing for the price, the market on Wednesday morning was set up right outside our hotel window and it was one of the best local markets we have ever seen

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the roundabout

“Basic place - average value even for Arles”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 April 2011

We had some trouble finding a place in Arles on short notice - even in late September. Finally we ended up at Hôtel Acacias, which turned out to be a so-so option. Good location - adjacent to the city walls and a five minutes' walk to the Arènes -, but our room was tiny and had a very small grand lit - alwas annoying for a non-couple, especially since we had made it clear we wanted a twin. Service was somewhat indifferent - but at least they had a funky garage for parking our bicycles.
