Beautiful hotel and grounds, horrible operations. Yellow-Brown water from bathroom sink, air conditioning worked erratically, bright lights shining in windows at night, can be noisy - some rooms right above outside dining area and hotel fails to disclose. Pool far distance from hotel, difficult for children, older adults or disabled. Managment rude, inhospitable and only interested if lots of $$$ spent.
We had to stop at a local bar to give us directions, but once we found this out of the way gem, we were delighted with the beauty and attention to detail of this historic and well maintained chataeu. The owners are polite and helpful. Each room is unique and exquisitely decorated. We were there in the off-season and were the only guests, which made us feel like we owned the entire chateau. Breakfast in the sunny blue room offered the most mouth watering croissants and jam.
Wish to revisit.
Beutiful setting but:
thirty + steps up from car park and no one to help you.
swimming pool 800 yards away along a rough track.
Dont go at weekends unless you like weddings ( they take over the whole place) We had to walk through a wedding service to get out to our car.
Restaurant excellent the only good experience during our stay
