This moderately priced 2 star hotel is situated within walking distance of many good restaurants and most Aix attractions. Rooms are clean & well appointed, many have balconies. We found the staff very helpful. If you are driving, book parking ahead or use the nearby public lot if it isn't full!

Du Globe is really so close to all attractions of the city. Staff is friendly and helpful. Also they serve really good breakfast with a good price. Room was clean and enough for our family. We can highly recommend this hotel for Provence visits. Small but very nice hotel...

The hotel is centrally located, just about five minutes from city center. The reception personnel are very friendly and the lady even helped us park our car in the (tiny!) garage. The room was cozy and had a well working A/C, the wall behind the bed was at an angle, os that made it a bit dizzying. Everything was very clean and quiet. They have a nice roof terrace with lounge chairs and bistro tables where we enjoyed a store-bought drink during sunset over Aix.

A bit tricky to find if your sat nav doesn't recognize one way streets. Luckily google maps on the iPhone helped us out. We reserved parking when we booked and it was safe and secure next to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map and pointed out the sites. The room was a bit smaller than others but plenty big enough for a 2 night stay. The hotel has a roof terrace which although doesn't have amazing views of the city, is great to sit back in the sun to read your book after a day seeing the city. The hotel location is good. Easy walking distance to the centre. We used the map provided and saw all the central sights within a few hours. We felt it had more to offer than Avignon and liked the atmosphere. We stayed 2 nights and ate out at a recommended restaurant pasta cosy.
