“poor location. rooms are very small but nicely decorated”

- location is bad, to join the heart of this nice city you have to walk on an unpleasant and desert avenue, dark at night with an unsafe feeling
- room are very small but very nicely decorated
- breakfast is poor. Also I wanted with my friend to have it outside but seatting chairs where full of dust and service was so-so...

“Hidden Gem”

We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon in September and we were very impressed by the attentive staff, impressive decor and surprisingly superb restaurant. Would highly recommend. Our only complaint - and it is minor - is that the parking was challenging - they do not have adequate parking for guests and do not offer alternatives. That being said, it was still worth every penny and the gardens in the back of the property are absolutely stunning!

“Wonderful Escape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

we were here 2 years ago on our Honeymoon so this might be out of date...but what a wonderful hotel. I am currently booking it for my parents for 2012 and have the fondest recollection of the wonderful pool, the beautiful gardens, the superb dinner and the very french rooms.

All might not be perfect with the rooms, but that's splitting hairs. We had no difficulty with the service and took advanatage of the great parking (if you have a car I recommend this neighbourhood). Only negative might be the 10-15 min walk to the centre but we're young so no problems! My parents might think otherwise. Go there and enjoy it.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the garden

“Luxury hotel with bed bugs”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011

I and my husband stayed 1 week in this hotel to celebrate our 1 year aniversary of marriege and it was terrible.
We spent a lot of money with this hotel and we came back home with a lot of bed bugs bites. We had never heard about bed bugs and when the red spots in our body appeared we tought that it was an alergy. When we came back to USA our bodies were with a lot of horrible spots and the doctor told us that it was bed bugs. So, we passed more than one month with spots and itching in our body.
After that, we called to the hotel to have some explanation and they didn't give us attention and sad that the hotel dont't have bed bugs!
We don't recomend anyone to stay in this hotel! It is very expensive, not well cleanned and with bed bugs! And the customer service doesn't work!

“Nice and calm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

The hotel is located in a calm neighborhood, about 10 minutes to the Cour Mirabeau by car. Free WIFI, Mini Bar and car park. The breakfast was good in a very nice room. The bedroom was very confortable but of bad taste. There was a light out side my window all night long that kept me of a good night rest. Beautiful garden and very gentle service.
