We stayed here for two nights in the Canelle room and decided to extend our stay because we loved it so much.
Breakfasts - are amazing, original and like everything about this place, entirely home made.
I mean, who serves tea out of a huge bowl? And eats a duck gratin for breakfast? With homemade cake and bread and jams? That's pretty awesome.
Service - Friendly and warm. Felt like the host was letting us stay in his home. His manner was incredibly genuine, was there whenever we needed him but also gave us plenty of space to do our own thing. He was always there with his apron on cooking something delicious in his incredibly cute retro kitchen.
Place - Sitting in the downstairs kitchen was such a pleasure, there was always something interesting to look at whilst the owner's 40s music hummed softly in the background. Whether it's an old cash register, or old toy sets on the walls or the impeccably cute backyard with its vegetables in a wooden box spread (which he uses for his cooking) - it was a real feast for the eyes.
Rooms - quaint and nostalgic with every comfort built in. The rooms are huge, we even had an extra sitting room. The beds were very comfortable, all decorated with the traditional furnishings of Provence. The room was always heated with two! airconditioners in the room. The bathroom is fitted out with modern wooden basin tops and a huge tub/shower.
In summary, we never wanted to leave! Not just a comfortable, beautiful place to lay your head but a place with real character and heart. Saving every penny to go back again in the summertime.
