Set in a nice location we thought we had chosen well for our overnight stop en route to Calais from the south. How wrong we were.
The room was OK - just - but very sad and neglected. The wooden safety rail on the balcony had rotted and in the garden we noticed the children's swing and slide were both rotten and broken .
After eating elsewhere, we returned to the hotel to find other residents - namely beetles - too many for us to consider sharing with. We were forced to evacuate @ 1am to the local Ibis hotel - at 58 Euros instead of the 93 we were going to have to pay @ Best Western.
The hotel Manager was as helpful as he could be to find us alternative accommodation which, under the circumstances was good of him.
