My husband myself and my teenage son spent a week in these beautiful apartments. 10- 15 mins walk from the city centre where you have to walk through a fab park with a river where ducks, frogs, otters etc swim in. The apartments are quiet, spotless and new with a fab swimming pool right outside your door. As there are only 3 apartments it is quiet and we often had the pool to ourselves and as the owners live next door, they couldnt do enough to help us. eg I tried ringing for a taxi but my french is so bad that taxi firm couldnt make out what I was trying to say so Lorraine the owner rang for me. They are so helpful, above and beyond the call of duty as other reviewer stated. Our own personal tourist office. La Rochelle is a beautiful city. Beautiful cobbled streets, fab marina and a trip across that amazing bridge to the Isle De Re is a must. You can drive, take a bus or for the fitter, you can cycle it. Cannot wait to head back again next year and going to try and persuade some of my family to book the other 2 apartments for a relaxing wonderful week.
