We got a great price for our two night stay at the Ibis La Rochelle Vielle Ville. It's located in the historic centre. It's a budget 2 star hotel so you don't expect luxury. Hotels in La Rochelle are pricey. The room was small and clean with air con, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was fine. It's really a place to drop your bags while you explore the town and then come back to sleep at night. For this purpose it ticked all the boxes. We had a great time in La Rochelle the restaruants and shops in the historic centre and down by the water are lovely.

Small roms, simple furniture and tiny bathrom, with som fungus - backyard, nice and quite location in the old town. Breakfast ok, somewhat limited and same assortment every day. All together reasonable value for money.

“Good Location and Price”

Whilst Ibis is a brand, each one in different towns across countries always feels welcoming and freindly with nice local touches.

First time visit to La Rochelle, so this hotel was in a great location to explore from. Staff as always went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one.
