We stayed for one night towards the end of August 2011. This hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Saumur, with plenty of good restaurants within easy reach. The Tourist Information Centre is just a couple of minutes away; the staff there were very helpful. The decor and general presentation in the hotel is excellent, the staff friendly and very helpful. Yes, the staircase up to Reception is challenging for someone carrying a heavy suitcase, but I'm sure the staff would have helped if needed. The room and ensuite facilities are excellent, and the breakfast was good - a very generous pot of hot chocolate was much appreciated. Having a secure above-ground car park behind the hotel was very helpful. We'd definitely recommend a stay there.

The rooms are small, but comfortable. Very clean and well located on the main street of the beautiful town of Saumur. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

We stayed for one night on our way home from holiday and had a family room with bunkbeds for the children. We found the hotel and the room charming, staff very helpful.

We had two connecting rooms for 2 adults and 2 children, kids had seperate beds. Can't fault the hotel and its certainly good value.
