We stayed here at the end of our trip. We had a studio apartment which had all the utensils you needed. Bathroom wasn't that great and the air conditioning was very loud and emitted a weird smell when initially turned on. Bed was very bouncy - if one of us moved, the other one was launched from the matress! However, the staff were friendly, the pool was clean (there was a cleaning robot in there all day), and the private terrace was a nice touch, which we took advantage of for breakfast and lunch. The gate was always unlocked so no code needed. We didn't eat at the hotel but bought food at the local supermarket. Saumur has some lovely places for dinner - try St Pierre's square. Reasonably priced food with great flavours (just take a dictionary with you if you're french isn't that good).
Not sure I'd stay again as it's a bit far out of town but for a few days relaxing in the sunshine, it was just what we needed.
