thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Novotel Le Mans.
From the moment of arrival, the ease of access from the motorway through pleasant residential areas, the friendly and helpful staff, the comfort and practicality of accommodation, to the excellent dining and choice of menus including abundant healthy choices, and the wonderful buffet breakfast, everything about Novotel is geared to the needs of the tired long-distance traveller.
And the biggest bonus is the secure parking and street level parking, ideal for a motorcyclist like myself.
Not only would I recommend this hotel to others, but I look forward to staying there again myself.

The hotel is at the high standard one expects from Novotel. The only problem is that it's difficult to find unless you know a key fact. It's very close to the Abbey of L'Epau, which is slgned from all over the city, and well worth a visit too!

Driving through France we chose the Novotel as an overnight stop. We found the rooms clean and cosy, the staff friendly and helpful; and there was a little swimming pool for the kids to splash around in after a long drive. Well pleased and good value.
Two other things worth mentioning:
1. The hotel Restaraunt was really not great food wise.
2. Take the tram just outside the hotel and go into le mans town to see the Night of Dreams illuminations. They are free. On nightly starting around 10pm. And are just brilliant. You won't regret it!
