This beautiful B&B with it's gracious hosts, Claire and Christopher, is the perfect place to stay while exploring Rouen and surrounding areas. My niece and I stayed in a suite on the top floor with two roomy, lovely bedrooms, a small kitchen,a beautifully appointed bathroom with a great shower and an outside deck. The house and front garden are gorgeous. The stunning breakfast room kept us lingering longer than we should have as we looked out onto the garden eating wonderful breads, pastries, fresh squeezed juice and locally made yougurt and preserves....and, oh yes, that incredible Normandy butter. Claire and Christopher could not have been more helpful with suggesting sites to visit and restaurants in Rouen. The B&B is a short, easy, 10-15 minute walk from the sights of Rouen, which is charming and historical. Don't miss the art museum, where you may be the only one looking at notable Impressionist paintings (a far cry from the crowded museums of Paris). If you're traveling to Rouen, Villa Gloriette is delightful.

An absolutely wonderful B&B. Beautiful rooms that were large and spotless. Also beautifully decorated. The Bovary room has a terrace which overlooked the beautiful grounds. The host and hostess were very so very nice and helpful in making suggestions on restaurants and sites to see (e.g. Beauvon en Auge) in the Rouen area. Would absolutely stay here again. There are no better B&B's to stay in. Loved every minute.

La Villa Gloriette is a charming B&B in a family mansion near the centre of Rouen, France. We stayed in the Bovary room with its king-size bed, terrace and modern bathroom. Breakfast in the dining room was an elegant delight complete with fresh fruit and pastries and accompanied by classical music. The hosts were charming and the location is excellent for visiting Rouen as well as Caen and the Normandy beaches 1 hour to the west and Monet's Giverny just over 1 hour to the south-east.

Rouen is an absolutely beautiful town in North of France which is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a charming city with lots of history, great restaurants and a cozy atmosphere. It's surroundings are beautiful and it's a short trip to the coast of Normandy.

Staying in Villa la Gloriette made our trip to Rouen even more wonderful! The Villa is beautiful and located very close to the city centre. We stayed in the appartment and it truly felt like we had our own place in the middle of Rouen. The service was great and the owners made us feel at home rightaway.

If you're looking for a unique experience and a warm welcome, we would definitely recommend staying at Villa La Gloriette!
