This hotel more then deserves its number 1 place on the list. With a tremendous sense of detail the owners have done a restauration of this beautiful mansion in the old part of Honfleur. The result is perfection everywhere, in the small courtyard, the cozy parlors on the ground floor, the wonderfully decorated suite we booked on the 1st floor, the breakfast, the cordial and professional approach of the owners and staff.
These kind of places are rare, very rare.. not cheap but worth every penny !

From the first email when we enquired about a vacancy to the moment we departed everything about this Hotel was first class.
It is a beautiful and charming Hotel in Honfleur.
The staff could not do more to assist us during our stay.
The room was charmingly decorated, the breakfast in the court yard was a great way to start the new days travel.
If in Honfleur this is a must.

I stay here on business trips and I love it. The rooms are so homely, comfortable and quite charming. I cannot wait to share this Hotel with my wife. The staff are so pleasant and friendly also. Once again I love this place.

Although a little difficult to find and off load your luggage,since situated on a corner narrow street just some 150 meters from the town historic area,you are warmly welcomed by the reception guy who appear at the front gate and explained to us the public parking area some 50 meters away.But don't forget to obtain the machine parking ticket as the penalty is 40 euro fine! We encounter just about two staff ,one the very friendly and helpful guy who took our luggage to the second floor and the lady whom we later found out was the owner.
The place is like your home,except you don't have access to the kitchen.Room is clean and comfortable.Breakfast in the front small garden area is nice in good weather,although breakfast selection of bread and croissant is rather limited for the price charged.Highly recommended for a homely experience.
