Let's start with the check-in procedure. I think I never stayed in a hotel where I the staff was so unfriendly and careless. We got our keys and got sent to our room right away.
Once in the room, the lights were off, the heat was off too...Again, I never experienced that in any other hotel before. I called the reception to ask for a space heater later in the evening, after cranking up the heat but they told me that they didn't have any. I posted two pictures of the heaters for you to see how they expect to get a family suite heated up in the winter. It's ridiculous! Since we were cold, we called the reception again and asked for extra blankets. They told us to come to the reception to get them. Is that a 3* hotel or what?
On their website, it says that the family suite with a double bed on the second floor and two single beds on the 1st floor features bathrooms (with an S). To my big disappointment, there was only 1 bathroom on the 1st floor and 1 sink upstairs. The sink was dirty and so was the mirror. No trash, no amenities. The bathroom on the 1st floor featured very poor amenities, bad toilet paper and no shower curtain. Honestly, I didn't feel bad when the water sprayed all over the bathroom!
The breakfast is 11 euros/pers. After a bad night, we didn't feel like giving them more money. We had a look at the buffet but it looked very poor for 11 euros.
Regarding the spa, we entered it, there was nobody to help, so we went back to the reception. So basically, they don't provide towels in the spa. You bring the towels from your room and then you bring them back to the reception and get new ones after using the spa. Is it a joke? Back to the spa, we didn't find the "lockers" as they call them at the reception. They came with us to show us a shelf where to store our shoes and clothes in a 20x20 box. Not my definition of a locker! People walk with their dirty shoes all over the spa area. You can use the sauna for an additional charge but if someone joins you in the sauna that you paid for, the person uses it for free basically.
I could criticize this hotel more and more but what's the point...you got a taste for it. Now you can think there was maybe a language barrier. It happens that there are misunderstanding because of the language. Well...I'm 100% French :-)
The only positive note was the bed: really good quality mattress, sheets and pillows.
Don't waste your money in that place!
