If you're visiting Giverny don't miss the chance to stay at the Hotel Musardiere-we love it! If you're looking for a warm welcome, a relaxing atmosphere and a mixture of old world charm with a modern approach then this is for you. Relax on the flower bedecked garden terrace enjoying great crepes, moules/frites or any of the wide selection of dishes. A great place to make the most of the Giverny experience as Monet so clearly did.

My wife and I stayed here towards the end of a 21 day cycling tour. While Monet's garden and the Art Museum were the primary reasons to visit, we also wanted a day's "break". as it turned out, La Musardiere could not have been better. Giverny can be really busy with tourists, and a bit chaotic. The hotel, at the end of the village, was calm, with great gardens, lovely open deck/bar and resturant and great service. Friendly and very hard-working staff. Rooms are charming, clean and spacious; breakfasts were quite good, with usual assortment of breads, cheese, yogurt and coffee. If I had a French Great Aunt, I think she'd live here and I'd love to come visit..

The Hotel is only 2 min walk from Monets Gardens.
Rooms were good,king size beds,good size Bathroom.We were on the top floor so it would have been nice if there had been a lift, but that was only a small problem.
Food was good, the set menu was good value for money. Was not so happy with the pancakes we had ,as they were a little dry.
Staff were great ,alway smiling which is not always the case in France

We stayed for 2 nights, a group of cyclists, with space in the cellar for our bikes overnight, and our meal was served in a separate dining room for the whole group, which worked really well, for us and for the rest of the guests, too, as we also occupied the bedroom was above the our dining room! The staff were really friendly, and the food was excellent, with more choice of breakfast than in most French hotels we have visited.
